2010-2011 chevrolet camaro detail


The Chevrolet Camaro which retired in 2002 is making a comeback as a 2010 model. It will be a four-passenger, rear-wheel-drive performance-oriented vehicle. To be offered in coupe and convertible body styles, the 2010 Camaro will appear in LS, LT and SS trim levels. The Camaro LS and LT will be motivated by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that will produce 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, while the Camaro SS will get a 6.2-liter V8 engine that will make 422 horsepower and 408 pound-feet of torque. All engines will be combined with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 2010 Camaro LS and LT are estimated to achieve 26 mpg on the highway, while the Camaro SS will deliver 23 mpg on the highway 

The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will come with a sleek, heritage-inspired design with modern cues. The convertible will retain a foldable soft top of its concept. It will be offered in 10 exterior body colors. The interior of the 2010 Camaro will be equipped with standard technological features such as Bluetooth connectivity, OnStar with one-year Safe & Sound Plan and six airbags. Remote vehicle start system, USB connectivity, ultrasonic rear parking assist and Boston Acoustics 9-speaker, 245 watt audio system with subwoofer will be available on select Camaro versions.

Chevrolet also announced pricing for the all-new, 2010 Camaro. It starts at $22,995 MSRP for the V-6-powered LS model, and $30,995 for the V-8-powered Camaro SS (all prices include $750 destination charge). Customer ordering opened on Oct. 13, with production scheduled to start in first quarter of 2009
